QUANTITATIVE ANALYST
Responsibilities:
Build statistical models and trading algorithms that employ the latest techniques from machine learning and applied maths.
Use machine-learning, applied mathematics, and statistical techniques to develop and iterate on our models of the crypto markets and develop trading algorithms based on those models.
Develop more efficient executions at lower costs and slippage
Write maintenance scripts & programs
Able to adjust and clean historical data without forward lookahead bias.
Support development of models of crypto markets and trading algorithms in real time.
Requirements:
Strong foundation of linear algebra, statistics and probability.
Background in machine learning
Practical hands on experience with building, training, and testing deep learning networks
Strong interest in financial markets, experience with quantitative trading is even better.
Production-quality clean coding skills: Python & C++ preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capacity to take ownership of projects.
Experience applying machine learning to large datasets.
Knowledge of the tradeoffs of common machine learning algorithms, feature engineering and model evaluation.
Understanding of algorithm performance, scalability, and implementation details.
Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn unfamiliar technologies and statistical methods.
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Responsibilities:
Screen projects by reading protocol specifications and evaluate the technical teams
Aggregate information from a variety of sources including technical repositories and anecdotal feedback from teams, then draw informed conclusions from incomplete information
Manage the production of the firm’s Investor Letters.
Create, update and maintain the firm’s investor presentations for the fund offerings managed by the firm.
Research potential speaking engagement and help prepare speaking presentations.
Correspond with existing and/or potential investors.
Requirements:
A degree in a technical area and/or technical experience is strongly preferred
Solid understanding of smart contracts scripting, cryptography, crypto-economics, and blockchain technology.
Sharp analytical abilities including identification of unconventional trends and emerging technologies
Able to explain complex concepts in simple terms to a non-technical audience
Obsession with the future of blockchain technology, web3, and low-level protocol development
Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent personnel and project management skills
